According to the results of 8 months of 2026, 126,382 units of automotive and other equipment were produced in Kazakhstan. This is 31.2% more than in the same period last year. Such data is provided by the Kazakhstan Automobile Union (KAO) with reference to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In total, from January to August, 117,170 cars (+34.2% compared to the previous year), 4,529 trucks (-1.5%), 1,719 buses (+8.5%), 614 units of special equipment (+19.9%), 2,350 trailers and semi-trailers (-0.3%) were assembled at the enterprises of Kazakhstan. Thus, the Allur automobile plant (SaryarkaAvtoProm) produced 47,619 cars in 8 months. Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan produced 33,102 units of equipment. The Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant assembled 25,066 vehicles, and Kia Qazaqstan - 12,290 vehicles. The volume of car production at each of the remaining plants amounted to less than 10 thousand units. From January to August, the most cars produced were Hyundai (25,036 units), Chevrolet (25,020 units) and Kia (15,655 units). The TOP-5 also included Changan (12,403 units) and Chery (10,157 units). As for August, last month Kazakh enterprises produced 15,267 units of various wheeled vehicles. This is 17.8% more than in August 2025, and 1.6% more than in July 2026.
